Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor – Fully Remote
Rate: £60 per hour
Contract: 6-month rolling contract
Start Date: Within the next 4 weeks

Vivid Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to join a local authority on a fully remote, locum basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and representation on all aspects of adult social care law, including Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Court of Protection, and safeguarding matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, including care plans and court applications.

• Manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and service standards are maintained.

• Liaise with social work teams, counsel, and external stakeholders to deliver effective and pragmatic legal solutions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practising certificate.

• Proven experience in adult social care law within a local authority or public sector setting.

• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and case law.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

• Duration: 6-month rolling contract

• Rate: £60 per hour (umbrella)
