Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor – Local Authority (South East)

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a Local Authority in the South West who are looking for an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their Legal Services team on a locum basis.

Key Details:

• Contract Length: 3 month initial contract, with a strong view to extend

• Working Arrangement: fully remote

• Start Date: within the next 4 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of adult social care law, including:

  • Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Court of Protection matters

  • Care Act 2014 and community care issues

  • Ordinary residence and funding disputes

  • Safeguarding adults and deprivation of liberty cases

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx).

• Demonstrable experience in adult social care law within a local government setting.

• The ability to work with minimal supervision
