Locum Senior Property Solicitor – 12-Month Contract
Location: Yorkshire (Remote with occasional office attendance)
Rate: Excellent, competitive daily rate
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: Within 4 weeks

We are currently working with a local authority in Yorkshire seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor for a 12-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned local government property lawyer to take on a senior role with leadership responsibilities, working on a broad range of commercial property matters including regeneration and development projects. The successful candidate will play a key part in overseeing the property legal function and may manage junior staff or external legal support where required.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with significant experience in commercial property law

• Strong regeneration project experience within a local authority or public sector context

• Confidence in managing a varied property caseload including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development agreements

• Ability to supervise or support more junior colleagues and provide strategic input

• Previous local authority experience is essential

• Willingness to attend the Yorkshire office occasionally (infrequent, flexible attendance)
