Locum Childcare Lawyer – 6 months + – Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – £55ph Umbrella – Greater Manchester
Position: Locum Childcare Lawyer
Organisation: Greater Manchester
Duration: 4 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time, may be able to consider 4 days
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, Court attendance required (ideally weekly, but fortnightly will be considered)
Hourly Rate: £55ph umbrella
The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Childcare matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.
Duties may include:
- Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings
- Represent the Council at the Family Court when required
- Provide specialist Childcare services and policy advice with an emphasis on the conduct of Public Law Litigation for the protection of children
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law matters
