Part-time Commercial Contracts Lawyer - Local Authority
Location: Wales (Remote)
Rate: £55-£60 per hour
Contract: 3 months initially, with potential for extension

Sellick Partnership is delighted to be recruiting for an excellent opportunity for a Part-time Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a small, supportive legal team within a Local Authority in Wales. This role is offered based on 2.5 days per week and on a fully remote basis.

The successful candidate will bring a solid background in handling a variety of commercial legal matters, ideally within a local government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing clear, practical legal advice on a wide range of commercial contract issues
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and amending complex contractual documents
  • Managing routine contractual and procurement-related work
  • Advising on more complex commercial matters as they arise

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in commercial contracts law
  • Ideally, experience within a Local Authority or other public sector body
  • Candidates from private practice or other sectors will also be considered if they have relevant experience
