35 hours per week

 

We are looking for an experienced civil litigation lawyer to cover maternity leave (11 months) with a proven track record in dealing with a wide range of litigation matters, including (non-residential) property litigation, commercial and contract disputes, debt recovery, public law orientated disputes, discrimination and equality claims, injunction applications and non-housing judicial review claims.

 

You will be part of a friendly and collegiate in-house litigation team.

 

This role will require the ability to provide a range of legal support to help ensure the successful delivery of the initiatives across all five Boroughs.

 

A thorough knowledge of civil procedure and practice is essential.
Reporting into the Principal Lawyer and Assistant Head of Law for this area, the successful candidate will have excellent communication, drafting skills and the ability to provide legal advice to a variety of audiences, including senior officers and Members.
