Position: Locum Principal Childcare Lawyer
Organisation: North West Based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months + with the likelihood of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, office attendance once a fortnight
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
 
The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Childcare matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.
 
Duties may include:

• Managing a small complex caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings, care proceedings and placement applications
• Distributing work according to the workstreams of the department
• Managing a team of Childcare Lawyers
• Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law matters
• NO ADVOCACY REQUIRED
