Locum Elections Team Manager – Kent – £60+ umbrella per hour – Option for remote working – Full Time or Part Time- Elections Team Manager
- £60 umb per hour (open to negotiation, depending on experience)
- 6 months initially with high likelihood of longer term continuation
- Full-time or part-time (minimum 2 days/week)
- Local Authority in Kent
- Open to remote work and offers flexibility on the start date
Venn Group is working with a highly respectable local authority in
Kent in their search for a
Elections Team Manager on a
locum basis for an initial 6 month role.
Duties/Responsibilities: Working closely as Senior Lead with the Assistant Director to provide strategic direction and operational leadership to a small team.
This will include, but is not limited to:
- Managing the operational side of the elections team
- Writing up and implementing strategic plans for the team
- Directing and supporting junior staff
- Ensuring compliance with the legal framework for elections
- Utilizing and managing operations through the IDOX operating system
Preferred experience:
- Strong practitioner-level knowledge of the legal framework surrounding elections
- User knowledge of the IDOX system
- Likely experience in electoral services or local government elections
- Team management and leadership skills, even during non-election periods (as no elections are planned for the next 2 years)
