Locum Planning Lawyer – Part Time – Up to £60 per hour (umbrella) – Initial 3+ months – Midlands
 
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Local Authority who are seeking a Locum Planning Lawyer to join the team on an interim basis.
 
Role Overview:
Rate: Up to £60 per hour (umbrella)
Working Arrangements: Part Time
Onsite Requirements: Remote with Planning Committee attendance
Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of Planning Law
• Advise on S106 agreements, alongside all other related legal matters
• Liaise with council officers to support on relevant projects, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies
• Attend Planning Committees as required

 
 
About You:

• Experienced in Planning Law
• Local Government/Public Sector experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and provide expert legal advice
