Job Description:

Senior Adult Social Care Solicitor

Luton (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract 

Rate: Negotiable, umbrella - Indicate rate sought

 

To assist in the provision of an efficient, effective, and economic legal service to the Council, its Executive, Committees and Sub-Committees, and to Departments, including  senior officers and elected members as well as external clients, to protect the interests of the Council and/or external clients whilst providing options and advising on risks.

 

To provide high quality legal advice and to be responsible for a personal legal caseload covering all areas of adult community care law, including Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act functions, taking account of the Council’s business needs and objectives.
