Job Description:
Venn Group's specialist Executive/Interim Division are delighted to be working with our client in the North East to support them with the recruitment of an Interim Director of Law and Governance & Monitoring Officer. To be considered for this position, candidates will need to be able to start in post within the next 2-4 weeks.
This assignment is offered for an initial 6-9 month contract pending permanent recruitment into the role. The position can be worked 4 or 5 days per week and the successful candidate will be expected to work on a hybrid basis with regular office attendance.
With a large amount of interesting Governance work to get stuck into, this is a really interesting role allowing the opportunity to put your own stamp on an exciting organisation. You will have need to have significant experience of leading teams within a Local Authority and be an experienced Monitoring Officer who is confident liasing with and supporting Members and Senior Officers within the Council.
A rate of up to £1000 per day via an umbrella company can be considered depending upon your level of experience.
