Locum Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor
Local Authority – South East
Fully remote optional
Full time (can do condensed hours)
6 months initially
£55 - £60ph Umbrella

Panoramic Associates is recruiting an experienced Locum Senior Commercial Solicitor for our South East Local Authority client. This is an initial 6-month contract, with potential extension. You’ll join a well-established Contracts legal team, and they’re seeking someone with a strong background in public law.

Role Duties:

Provide high-quality, proactive legal advice on a range of matters including but not limited to Public Contract Regulations, Company law, Subsidy Control, NEC and JCT construction contracts, General contractual issues.
Manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Deputise for the Principal Solicitor when required.
Engage with clients and stakeholders in a professional and solutions-focused manner.

Essential Criteria:

Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of CILEX with a current practising certificate (England & Wales)
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and drafting complex contracts, including construction, service agreements, and facilities management contracts
Prior experience in public law within a Local Authority
Ability to support junior team members
