Venn Group's specialist Executive/Interim Division are delighted to be partnering with a Local Authority in the South East to support them with the recruitment of an Interim Head of Legal Services and Monitoring Officer. To be considered for this position, candidates will need to be able to start in post in mid June.
This assignment is offered for an initial 3-6 month contract pending permanent recruitment into the role. The position can be worked on a 5 day per week basis and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office twice per week and for Council/Cabinet meetings as needed.
Leading a multidisciplinary legal team, the ideal candidate will be a strong people manager who has significant experience of leading teams within a Local Authority and has operated at Monitoring Officer level for a number of years. You will be also need to be confident liasing with and supporting Members and Senior Officers within the Council.
A rate of up to £800 per day via an umbrella company can be considered depending upon your level of experience.
