Sellick Partnership is recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a small and friendly team in a local authority within the West Midlands. The role is initially for 3 months, pending permanent recruitment, however, there is a possibility for this to be extended.

The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will have previous local authority experience undertaking a range of commercial matters. Day to day responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Lawyer will include:

  • Providing legal advice in relation to contractual matters
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and amending commercial contracts
  • Routine contractual and procurement work
  • Complex matters
  • Construction contract experience is desirable

Previous public sector experience is desirable, although experience gained from Private Practice or other sectors can still be considered.
