Locum Property Solicitor – Northwest Local Authority 
Remote/Hybrid | £DOE | 3 Months Initial – Likely to Extend

Vivid Resourcing are working with a well-regarded Northwest-based local authority seeking an experienced Locum Property Solicitor for a flexible, mostly remote contract. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor with a solid grounding in commercial property and a working knowledge of residential matters.

The Role:
You’ll join a collaborative legal team handling a mixed caseload of local authority property work, with a strong emphasis on commercial transactions including:

• Leases, renewals, assignments and licences (alteration, occupation, etc.)

• Acquisitions, disposals, and auction sales

• Reports on title, easements, and restrictive covenants

• Occasional support on residential matters such as buy-backs or Right to Buy

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with local authority experience

• Confident managing files independently from start to finish

• Strong drafting skills and familiar with relevant statutory processes

• Able to hit the ground running in a remote working environment

Details:

• 3-month initial contract with strong likelihood of extension

• Flexible remote working – some office presence optional

• Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
