Job Description:

Venn Group's specialist Executive Interim Division are delighted to be partnering with a Midlands based Local Authority to support them with the recruitment of an Interim Director of Law and Governance & Monitoring Officer, with the successful applicant to start in Mid-May or early June 2025.

This assignment is offered for an initial 6 month contract but may be extended further dependant on the success of permanent recruitment into the post. The Council's preference is for candidates to be able to offer full-time hours, but those possessing suitable experience who can offer 4 days per week are also encouraged to apply. There is a general expectation of office presence for 2 days per week.

The daily rate on offer for the role is between £750 - £950 via an umbrella company depending upon your level of experience. For this position it is essential that candidates have previous experience as a Monitoring Officer within a Local Authority.
