Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer – Remote Location: Remote
Rate: Dependent on experience (Inside IR35)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Start Date: Mid-May (Flexible)

A well-regarded local authority is seeking an experienced
Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer to manage a varied caseload of
planning, highways, and public rights of way matters. This role involves acting on behalf of planning and highway authorities, advising on planning breaches and enforcement cases, and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide legal advice on
planning, highways, and public rights of way law.
• Draft and negotiate
S106 agreements, S38 & S278 highway agreements, and related legal matters.
Key Skills & Experience:•
Qualified Solicitor (Legal Executives/Senior Paralegals will not be considered).
• Strong experience in
local government planning and highways law.
• Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload.
