Venn Group’s specialist legal team is assisting a Local Authority in their search for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal department.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and advising on a variety of complex agreements including frameworks, service contracts, ICT contracts, Social Care contracts, Collaboration agreements and section 75 agreements
• Handling various central and local government grant funding arrangements and loan agreements including Subsidy Control considerations
• Advising on all aspects of commercial contracts to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies
• Providing clear, solutions-focused legal advice to key stakeholders within the Local Authority

Role Details:

• Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with a likelihood of extension thereafter
• Working Arrangements: Full Time (37 hours), Fully remote working
• Rate: Up to £60 per hour (via umbrella)
