Job description: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the North West. The client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The role is for an initial 4 months with potential of further extension. This role will require travel to conduct advocacy in Court but will be remote otherwise.

Main Responsibilities:

• Undertake a caseload of care proceedings, pre proceedings and PLO matters
• Dealing with all aspects of the case
• Undertaking own Advocacy in Family Court
• Completing all the necessary paperwork and closing the files

Recent Childcare experience is essential, as they need candidates that can hit the ground running. Candidates must have worked in a Local Authority. Candidates will need to be a qualified Solicitor, CILEx or Barrister.
 
Hourly rate: £55ph Umbrella
