Childcare Lawyer

Rate: £50 - 55 per hour (umbrella)

Location: South East

Working: Hybrid

About the Childcare Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a locum Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based in the South East. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.

Key Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer role:

  • To act as a legal advisor
  • Advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children
  • To provide legal advice and support services to clients
  • To carry a caseload of predominantly public childcare care proceedings
  • To advocate, when necessary, at the family courts

The role will be a hybrid working arrangement whereby you will need to attend family courts in the South East at in person hearings on a weekly basis.
