Job Description: We have fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in Merseyside as a Senior Commercial Property Locum. The client is looking for someone to work on a hybrid basis, with one day a week in the office. The assignment will be an initial 3 months, with the likelihood of extension.

Job Requirements:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advising on property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development agreements.
  • Supporting regeneration projects, including negotiating key agreements.
  • Drafting and negotiating property and commercial contracts, including overage agreements, option agreements, and grant funding.
  • Providing legal advice on land and property law, including landlord and tenant matters.
  • Working closely with council departments, developers, and external stakeholders to progress key projects.
Hourly Rate: £55ph Umbrella
Recent Property Law experience is essential as they need candidates that can hit the ground running. Local Government experience is also highly desirable.
Travel to the office would be beneficial, but the client will consider fully remote applications.
