Our Lexcel accredited Legal Team is looking for a Team Manager who will also undertake the role of Deputy Monitoring Officer.
You will be required to provide commercially aware legal advice to internal and external clients, as well as advising on a range of governance issues. You will be required to provide managerial support to the Legal Team Leaders and Legal Apprentice, as well as providing direction for other staff as appropriate.
It is also an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop the team as a business unit and maximise income generation opportunities.
In order to be considered for this exciting role you must be a qualified Solicitor who holds or is eligible to hold a Solicitor’s practising certificate. Recent experience in contracts and procurement is essential and knowledge of the following areas is desirable: Local authority governance; Construction and regeneration projects; Business planning, marketing and income generation.
- 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £56,883 - £61,520 (including market supplement enhancement)
- £4326.52 per annum for Deputy Monitoring Officer Duties
- Car allowance £4,291 per annum
