I am currently working with a Local Authority who are looking for a contracts and procurement Lawyer for an initial period of 6 months. 

Assignment details: 
- Remote working. 
- 6 month intitial project with a view to extension. 

Key responsibilities: 
- Working in close collaboration with the project delivery team and procurement team. 
- Dealing with procurement on behalf of the council from start to finish, the ideal candidate must have an understanding of the new procurement act and its regulations. 
- Advising on JCT's.
- Advising on contract breaches. 
- Dealing with funding agreements and subsidy control.
