Adult Social Care Lawyer

Locum Contract

Remote working

A well established local authority in the the East Midlands is recruiting for an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their welcoming team on a locum basis.

Adult Social Care Lawyer will join the council on an initial 6 month locum contract, with the view to extend further. The role can be worked entirely remotely and part time hours would be considered.

The successful candidate will be required to manage a mixed caseload of Adult Social Care matters including:

  • Court of Protection (COP)
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)
  • Ordinary Residence
  • Judicial Review
  • Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act

This will be a great opportunity for a determined Lawyer to develop their expertise, and take on a varied and interesting caseload.

Our client is seeking to fill this locum Adult Social Care role as soon as possible, so applicants will ideally be able to start immediately or within a few weeks' notice. We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting.
