Job Description:

Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced associate to join a top firm in London, working in the real estate Litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a dynamic and growing practice, working on a wide range of residential matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a variety of residential matters, including:

  • Residential landlord and tenant issues, such as rent recovery and possession claims.
  • Service charge disputes, including S.20 proceedings and related tribunal matters.
  • Addressing building safety issues, including repairing obligations, fire safety legislation, and service charge concerns.
  • Enforcement of easements, restrictive covenants, and rights of light.
  • Disrepair cases.
  • Adverse possession and squatters' rights issues.
  • Provide transactional support on relevant matters.

There will also be opportunities to gain exposure to other areas of real estate litigation, broadening your experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in residential real estate litigation, with a focus on the areas mentioned above.
  • A proactive attitude and an ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients alike.
