Job Description:

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a Local Authority based in the Midlands who are seeking to hire a planning lawyer on a rolling contract for 6 months to cover a gap in their team.

 

The role has a hybrid working arrangment as in-person attendance for monthly planning committees is required - apart from that the role would be fully remote

 

The ideal candidate will:

- Have extension experience working within local government legal teams,

- Have previous experience with complex s106s, committees, general advice, and enforcement,

- Be able to attend evening planning committees in person monthly,

- Experience with highways work would be desirable,

- Have two references from previous employees.
