Job Description:

Job Description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North as an Adult Social Care Legal Assistant. The client is looking for someone to start on a fully remote, full-time basis with an immediate start for a 3-month period initially, with potential for further extension.

Job Requirements:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to the Legal Services Manager, solicitors, and social work clients
  • Preparing court documents and bundles, assessing client statements, liaising with the courts, counsel, and other external organisations such as external solicitors
  • Supporting the solicitors in the team with their caseload including support work on the most complex and high-profile cases.
  • Experience in Education is beneficial but not essential
Recent Legal Assistant/Administration experience is essential, as they need candidates that can hit the ground running. Candidates must have worked in a Local Authority.
