Job Description:
Venn Group's specialist Executive/Interim Division are delighted to be partnering with a Local Authority in the North West to support them with the recruitment of an Interim Deputy Director of Law & Governance (Deputy Monitoring Officer).
This assignment is offered for an initial 6 month contract and the position can be worked on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will be required to attend the office weekly.
You will be working closely with the Monitoring Officer to support them on a range of Strategic and Governance matters including committee meetings, standards issues, devolution, decision-making, matters concerning the constitution and other matters as they arise.
A rate of between £600 - £850 per day via an umbrella company can be considered depending upon your level of experience.
