£45,117 - £60,414 per annum

We are seeking to recruit permanent Property Lawyers/Senior Lawyers to join our property teams at HB Public Law (HBPL).  You will undertake varied, high-quality work with likeminded and supportive colleagues who are committed to public service and excellent client care.

HBPL is one of the country’s leading local authority shared legal practices between several Northwest London and out of London boroughs; it is Lexcel accredited, and we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality service.  Staff are employed by Harrow Council but work for several public sector clients.

About You
The successful candidate will carry a varied caseload (including new and existing cases) dealing with matters including:
  • Conducting a full range of commercial and residential transactional work, including purchases, sales, regeneration and development and asset management work.
  • Supporting corporate projects and advising on property issues.
  • Senior Lawyers will be expected to manage projects, supervise junior members of the team and clear cabinet reports, along with advising senior officers on more complex matters and occasionally attending cabinet meetings.
The vacancy is a career graded post encompassing grades G10, G11 and MG1 (£45,117 to £60,411).  Details of the threshold criteria for the relevant grades are set out in the role profile.  There is also an annual career grading application process which enables lawyers to apply to advance to the next grade.
