Locum Information Governance Lawyer
Local Authority - Midlands
£50 - £55 per hour per umbrella
Remote Working – Occasional Office Attendance
Panoramic Associates are working with a local authority in the Midlands in the search for an Information Governance Lawyer to join the client's team on a contract basis for an initial 3-6 months with a strong likelihood of further extension beyond.
Our client is offering hybrid working arrangements; the team work on a mostly remote basis however, there will be expectation to attend the office for team meetings if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide client-focused, high-quality, and responsive specialist legal advice, assistance, and representation to the Council on all aspects of Information Governance law.
- Advise on Data Protection legislation, GDPR compliance, Freedom of Information requests, Data Subject Access Requests, DPIAs, and Information Sharing Agreements.
- Offer legal advice and operational support to the Data Protection Officer and Information Compliance team.
