We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in the North West, who are recruiting for a
Litigation Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis, for 3-months initially.
The role will be full-time for 35-hours a week, and the rate is negotiable subject to PQE.
The role can offer fully-remote working, however attendance for Court hearings is desirable if candidates are based locally.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):- Providing legal advice, assistance and court representation in regards to civil and criminal court and enforcement proceedings
- Personally undertaking legal casework, litigation and advocacy
Attending a range of committees to provide legal advice, including licensing and planning committees, and supporting these client departments with legal queries
Experience required:
- Broad knowledge of Local Government litigation
- Relevant professional qualifications
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
