Planning Solicitor

Tameside, Greater Manchester (Local Authority)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable

 

36 hours per week

  • Hybrid working
  • To provide legal advice and assistance and court representation for officers engaged in civil and criminal court and enforcement proceedings .
  • To attend at Licensing, Planning, and other committees where legal advice and support is required to keep the Council safe from making unlawful decisions.
  • To advise the Council’s Planning and Highways functions.
  • Maybe advocacy, but unlikely.
