Governance Officer – Rolling Contract
Vivid are working with a housing association in North-Wales who are looking to bring an experienced governance officer into their team on an interim basis for a contract of 1 year!
You will also be given the opportunity to work on a hybrid arrangement. Key responsibilities include:
- To manage and deliver the servicing of Council, Cabinet, Committees and Sub-Committees in their decision-making processes
- To contribute to and prepare relevant reports
- To coordinate, organise and attend meetings and committees for various legal areas including but not exclusively to planning, licensing and scrutiny
- To prepare meeting agendas ahead of relevant committee meetings
- To take minutes during committee meetings
- To ensure the smooth running of Member meetings and decision-making and to provide all of the necessary information needed for meetings and decision-making
- To make sure all decisions are made in accordance with the Council framework and statutory requirements
