Job Description:

Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer – 3 months initially - Hybrid Working – Full Time –  Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
 
Position: Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer
Duration: 3 months +
Working Pattern: Full-time hours preferred
Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote, with 1 day per week attendance for team meetings or Court appearances would be preferred
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella (dependent on experience)
 
The successful candidate will have experience working within Local Government and be confident handling Court of Protection and Deprivation of Liberty cases as part of a standard caseload.
 
Duties May Include:
  • Preparing and progressing cases efficiently through the legal process.
  • Representing the Council in court and conducting advocacy when required.
  • Attending weekly team meetings to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
 
Please note for this role interviews will be conducted before Christmas with the start date expected to be early January.
