Locum Assistant Principal Lawyer - Planning and Regeneration

London Local Authority

Locum Contract

Hybrid

A large and well-established local authority in London is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join them on a locum basis as an Assistant Principal Lawyer of the Planning and Regeneration team.

With this being a senior level role, hybrid working is required, with office attendance up to 1-2 times a week.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive)

  • Extensive planning law experience

  • Management experience

  • Experience working in local government or in a firm that deals with such work (strongly desirable)

The locum Assistant Principal Lawyer will support the Principal Lawyer in the running and development of the Planning and Regeneration team, including deputising in the Principal Lawyer's absence where necessary. You will be managing 4-5 members of staff.
