What you'll do- Handle and give advice on issues like anti-social behaviour or possession cases.
- Help other teams within Home Group, to understand and respond to property litigation matters and claims.
- Oversee work given to outside firms, making sure it's done well and effectively.
- Preparing applications ready for court or tribunal, carrying out research, preparing disclosures, and writing statements. On Occasion you may be required to represent the company in court or request that another lawyer do so.
- Assisting with other property legal issues, such as disrepair, when necessary.

You’ll join a skilled, welcoming team of Housing and Property Litigation experts, led by Robert, an experienced housing lawyer and supportive mentor. Outside of work, Robert’s passion for running keeps him busy as a qualified coach—always ready to share legal insights or marathon tips!
You are
- A qualified legal executive, solicitor, or barrister with experience in housing law and housing litigation, capable of managing your own caseload.
- A problem solver, working on a wide range of different case types including ASB, Leasehold, injunctions, and possession cases, offering advice on a wide range of topics to find the best solution for the customers and business.
- Negotiating out-of-court settlements, with an insight into court rules regarding costs, drafting and preparing court or tribunal documents, attending court proceedings where required.
- Knowledgeable / have experience in dispute resolution and offering dispute avoidance advice with a firm understanding of civil procedure rules and housing law.
- Capable of working independently yet effectively as part of a wider team.
- An effective communicator with robust interpersonal skills, able to interact successfully with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.

- You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, we’re ok with that!
- This is a hybrid role, and you’ll likely spend at least 2 days in the office and up to 3 days working at home, although adaptable to business needs.
- This is a full-time role but are open to negotiating your working pattern.
