Adult Care Lawyer - South West

Vivid are working with a local authority in the Northwest who are looking to bring an Adult Social Care Lawyer into their team on an interim basis.

The job has the option to be worked remotely. 
 

Key responsibilities of the Adult Care Lawyer

  • s.16s
  • s.21As
  • Appeals
  • Judicial reviews and complaints regarding adult social care
  • Ordinary Residence
  • MCA and COPDOL work.
  • s.29 applications under the Mental Health Act
  • s.117 disputes and complex discharges
  • Policy work
  • Debt collection advice
  • DPAs, appointee work
  • Deprivation of assets advice and county court applications
