Commercial Lawyer

Lincolnshire Local Authority (Remote working)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Negotiable, indicate rate sought (Umbrella)

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority in Lincolnshire on a locum basis for an initial three months with a likelihood of extension.

This is a full -time role which is offered on a remote basis.

The successful locum will be an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE in contracts and procurement work, ideally within local government.

The person will become an integral part of a small team handling a diverse range of commercial work for the Local Authority and its partner District Councils.

The work is fast- paced and the locum must be able to cope under pressure whilst maintaining the highest of professional standards.

Excellent communication skills are a necessity together with good housekeeping on files and daily time recording.

The practice is Lexcel accredited, and the successful locum will also be expected to participate in Lexcel file reviews and audits.

An immediate start is required so all candidates with the necessary experience should apply without delay.
