Job Description:

Position: Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer - (Anti-Social Behaviour & Possession matters)

Duration: 3 - 6 months +

Working Arrangement: Remote working and court attendance in Birmingham

Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour (Umbrella)

The ideal candidate must have demonstrable knowledge of Housing Litigation matters, with an emphasis on Anti-Social Behaviour & Possession matters. This role is to manage a full caseload unaided and to deal with all case matters relating to ASB and injunctions. Candidates must be able to prepare & manage a caseload in relation to Housing Management & support case preparation for Court.

***Court attendance is a key element of this role and candidates must be able to travel to Birmingham courts at short notice on a weekly basis.***

Duties may include:

  • Undertaking all aspects of legal work relating to Anti-Social Behaviour & Housing Possession
  • To defend Possession matters, Anti-Social Behaviour & other matters relating to Landlord and Tenant Act
  • Dealing with cases involving unlawful occupiers
