Position: Locum Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer
Organisation: East Anglia
Duration: 3 months +
Working Pattern: Full time or Part time (3 days)
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, occasional Court attendance required
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a
Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of
Civil Litigation matters, including
Licensing, Enforcement, Regulatory and Housing matters.
Duties may include:
- Handle caseload relating to Housing Litigation matters including Housing repossessions, Housing Disrepair, ASB and homelessness work
- Providing legal advice regarding alcohol and taxi Licensing to relevant stakeholders and clients
- To assist with matters that require Enforcement, prepare any relevant paperwork required and represent Local Authority when required at Court
- Act as Legal Regulatory support to assist the Local Authority to ensure compliance in relevant areas such as Trading standards and Health and Safety
- Work collaboratively with other legal representatives across the Local Authority
