Calling all Litigators!

We have a current opportunity for a Civil Litigation Locum Lawyer to join a large in-house team on a contract basis.

The civil litigation locum will be responsible for carrying a caseload of various civil and commercial litigation matters. These may include cases covering: debt recovery, charging orders, breach of contract, data breaches, and property litigation. The successful candidate must be able to work unaided and be confident to carry cases that vary in complexity. Caseloads will include some routine matters alongside some high value and complex matters.

This role can be worked remotely and any court appearances would be in the Birmingham courts.

The client is seeking an experienced candidate with the below experience:

  • Experience in general civil/commercial litigation - breach of contract, data breach claims and general debt recovery.
  • A working knowledge of property litigation including dealing with landlord and tenant disputes, forfeiture claims, trespass/encroachment claims, and dilapidations.
  • Experience of dealing with fast track, intermediate and multi-track claims.
  • Advocacy skills.
