Property Lawyer

Contract until March 2025
Rate: Negotiable, via Umbrella
TO START ASAP
35 hours per week
- To undertake all work including, amongst other matters, to ensure the provision of high quality cost effective specialist legal advice guidance and support in the field of property law including residential and commercial conveyancing, development agreements, landlord and tenant matters, compulsory purchase and other related work including advice, preparing orders and notices, drafting and similar agreements and legal work necessary for the performance of the teams functions.
- To provide legal advice to committees, sub-committees and working parties and to write reports to such bodies or provide legal advice on such reports as required by the Senior Regeneration Lawyer from time to time.
- To provide advice to the Council on changes in legislation and case law that may have an impact on the Council and to keep up to date with new and proposed legislation, new cases and other developments which may have an impact on the Council.
- To undertake tasks and projects as allocated by the Senior Regeneration Lawyer in accordance with instructions.
