Principal Lawyer (Litigation)

London Borough of Redbridge (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Negotiable (DOE) via Umbrella

Full time 36 hours per week

We are looking for a highly experienced, Principal Lawyer for our Litigation Team, to join the Council to provide a comprehensive and professional legal service. 

The candidate will need to manage a team of lawyers and provide expertise and knowledge of, and provide advice and guidance and practical assistance on, local government law in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, regulatory matters, housing law, corporate governance, including representation at courts or tribunals and policy work and licensing committees.
