Job Description:

£42,026 - £44,857 per annum plus Market Forces Supplement of £8,000

This post is a great opportunity to join an exciting and innovative legal team as a solicitor who wishes to develop their legal career and expertise.

We are a busy, friendly & well supported legal team that has worked closely with the judiciary and our client Childrens Service Department (WCF) and other stakeholders to provide great outcomes for children. We have a clear focus on robust case management both in pre-proceedings and in the local Family Court where we routinely undertake our own advocacy. We work hard to ensure our people are well supported and able to excel in their roles and positively manage the demands of the job.

We are looking for Solicitors or Barristers. Experience of Childcare would be an advantage but we would consider people new to this area of work, particularly with litigation experience as this can be transferrable. Advocacy is an essential part of the job and you should be willing to attend Courts in person across the County. You will be joining a very experienced team with supported by experienced Principal Solicitors and assisted by support staff to ensure you’re able to do your job to the best of your abilities. These key features allow both professional development and a positive work life balance with a hybrid working pattern involving 1 day in the office with full wrap around technological support.

We also offer a generous benefits package, which includes a flexi-time scheme, options for flexible working such as a nine-day fortnight, career average pension, as well as an edge-of-city location, very close to the M5.

If you wish to discuss the position in more detail then please contact Bridget Beresford Principal Solicitor on 01905 643827
