Sellick Partnership are delighted to be recruiting to an excellent opportunity for an experienced contracts lawyer to join a well-regarded team at a world-leading University.
Our client is seeking an experienced contracts lawyer who has experience in a higher education setting to join their small, friendly team and hit the ground running as soon as possible; therefore, a short notice period is highly advantageous.
The successful Contracts and Procurement Lawyer will be expected to carry a mixed caseload of contracts and procurement work, which includes but is not limited to:
- Procurement
- Commercial Leases
- Research Contracts
- Grant agreements
- Collaboration Agreements
- Partnership Agreements
- Memorandum of Understanding
The ideal candidate will also have some experience dealing with data protection matters or data sharing agreements as well as television and film contracts.
This position is a locum contract that will initially be for a few months pending permanent recruitment, the successful Contracts and Procurement Lawyer will ideally be able to attend their London office once per week but candidates who can not get to London are still encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking a qualified lawyer with a current practicing certificate (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx) but they are open to non-qualified candidates who are working at lawyer level.
