This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on a locum role in local government, working with an efficient and highly capable legal business support team.
Duties will include:
- Managing a team of 4 business support staff
- Assisting with recruitment
- Involvement with budgets and financial planning
- Project management (e.g. Software/IT updates)
- Undertaking one-to-ones/reviews
- Performance management
- Managing and authorising invoices
- Training and inducting new starters
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Can-do positive attitude
- Some supervisory/management experience
- Experience of working as a practice manager, office manager or legal business manager
This is a locum role for 3-6 months + so we are ideally looking for candidates who are available on short notice. Our client is open to candidates seeking both part time and full time hours. Office attendance is required on a hybrid basis, so the candidate must be able to attend the offices in South London.
