Job Description:

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be assisting a Council in South London in the recruitment of an Assistant Legal Business Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on a locum role in local government, working with an efficient and highly capable legal business support team.
Duties will include:
  • Managing a team of 4 business support staff
  • Assisting with recruitment
  • Involvement with budgets and financial planning
  • Project management (e.g. Software/IT updates)
  • Undertaking one-to-ones/reviews
  • Performance management
  • Managing and authorising invoices
  • Training and inducting new starters
The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Can-do positive attitude
  • Some supervisory/management experience
  • Experience of working as a practice manager, office manager or legal business manager
This is a locum role for 3-6 months + so we are ideally looking for candidates who are available on short notice. Our client is open to candidates seeking both part time and full time hours. Office attendance is required on a hybrid basis, so the candidate must be able to attend the offices in South London.
