Council Member Development Officer (Legal Training Co-Ordinator) – Midlands Based Council – 12 months+ - Hybrid Role
Position: Member Development Officer
Location: Midlands (Hybrid Role)
Duration: 12 months+
Rate: Up to £25 per hour (Umbrella) – although some flexibility on this for the right candidate
Office Attendance: Minimum 2 days per week
 
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Council Member Support Officer to join a Midlands-based Council on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office but offers flexibility for hybrid working around this.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for Council Members, including strategic planning and implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training meets the needs of the organisation.
  • Assist with HR and legal matters as they pertain to the support and training of members.
 
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in creating and delivering training strategies.
  • Preferable background in HR and legal support.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
