Housing Litigation Lawyer

London Borough Council

Full-time, locum

£40 - £50 umbrella per hour

We are recruiting to a Locum Housing Lawyer position to assist in a busy Housing Litigation team within a well-regarded London Borough Council.

Our London Borough client is looking for a Housing Lawyer on a locum-basis, an initial 3-month contract which is likely to be longer-term. The role offers hybrid working, with 1 day in the office per week. The hourly rate will be between £40 - £50 (umbrella rate), dependent on experience.

The client is looking for a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister/CILEx Lawyer with strong experience dealing with a busy caseload of housing Disrepair matters, experience in other areas such as Anti-Social Behaviour, Homelessness, Possessions and Judicial Review is also desirable.

This opportunity is perfect for someone looking for a flexible working arrangement, within a nice, stable team with the potential for a long-term assignment.
