We have an exciting opportunity within One Legal to join us as a Paralegal in the Commercial & Property team. This role involves providing administrative support and managing your own caseload, covering a variety of transactions for our partner authorities and other public sector bodies.

With Trainee Lawyer positions available in each team, we offer excellent training opportunities to support growth and ensure everyone can reach their full potential.

About Us
This role is within One Legal. One Legal was launched in November 2009 and staff are employed by Tewkesbury Borough Council but One Legal is a shared legal service between Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Councils with Gloucester City and most recently Stroud District joining us in 2020. One Legal enjoys a greater pool of expertise and an improved skills base than could be retained individually by the four partners. This enables One Legal to successfully support the varied and complex legal work arising from the Councils’ challenging business agendas.

We offer:
  • Up to 30 days annual leave
  • Agile working arrangements
  • Convenient office location close to the M5 with free parking
  • Opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Potential career progression
  • 20% discounted membership at the local leisure centre
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The council is committed to promoting equality of opportunity; we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
